Early March storm leaves a blanket of snow on the Sonoran Desert of Arizona

On the night of March 1, 2023 a powerful winter storm blew through Arizona and left a blanket of snow on the Sonoran Desert.

Local news reports hinted that snow would accumulate at some of the lowest elevations of the season. I couldn’t resist the urge to head out to the high desert and get a few pics before I started work for the day. Below are some of the best images I captured. Click on images for larger view.
