Wave Cave is a popular hiking destination in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona. This very scenic may be considered a little short by avid hikers, yet it provides a good workout due to the steep and slippery route up to the cave.

Wave Cave Trail near Gold Canyon is rated moderate and roughly 3 miles (5 km) out and back. It’s heavily trafficked due to it’s popularity. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used in the cooler months of September to April. Dogs must be kept on leash.
