Just outside the north entrance of the historic El Tovar hotel is an interactive bronze plaque donated to visitors of Grand Canyon National Park by George Crosby in 1922. A lens-free scope on the scenic locator helps visitors pinpoint the location of a handful of named rock formations. The Battleship is one of those sights.
