Arizona shaped chip served at Phoenix restaurant on Taco Tuesday

You can’t make this stuff up. On Tuesday, October 23, 2018 a customer at a Mexican restaurant in Phoenix was served a chip bearing a striking resemblance to the state of Arizona.

You decide. Does the chip look like Arizona? For reference, here’s an outline map of the state of Arizona from 50states.com.

The diner, who wishes to remain anonymous,  was participating in his normal Taco Tuesday ritual at Arriba Mexican Grill near 48th Street and Chandler Blvd. when he made the discovery.

“What you see is what I plucked out of the bowl of chips,” he said. “I didn’t break it off or anything.”

When asked if he brought the chip home to put on display, the man who discovered the chip said, “No it went the same place as all the other chips in the bowl.”

While this special chip probably won’t get as much attention as it would if the face of Jesus were plainly evident, it might cause people to look at their chips more closely.

Should this chip go viral?

You have total control over that. Sharing is caring. ♥
