There’s no question Airbnb has changed the travel game in the United States. Each year, more and more people in cities across the country are renting out part or all of their home to people who reserve their stay and pay for it through the Airbnb app.

Plus, Airbnb Experiences now allow you to connect with local experts in the places you’re traveling to see and do things from a local’s perspective. And that’s not all. As one of the biggest winners of the “sharing economy” Airbnb offers plenty of promotional incentives to help you reduce the cost of your adventures.

If you’re looking to explore some of the amazing places in Arizona, Airbnb may be the best thing that happened to you.

How Airbnb can help you get more out of your Arizona adventures

Affordable lodging in all the places you want to be

Phoenix is Arizona’s biggest city. In fact, it’s the fifth largest city in the United States. So naturally, there are plenty of hotels and resorts in the Phoenix metro area. The problem is that many of the best things to see and do in Arizona are often several hours from Phoenix.

It used to be that the further you get from Phoenix, the fewer lodging choices you had. Not anymore. With Airbnb, you can find a comfortable place to rent in some of the most far-flung places. Below are a few examples.

Guided experiences you’d never dream of doing on your own

There are so many exciting things to do in Arizona. Starting in 2016, Airbnb made it possible to book unique experiences with locals who know the best places to go and when to go there. Below are some examples of the unique experiences offered by hundreds of hosts all across the state.

Do you have space to rent out using Airbnb? It doesn’t need to be extravagent. Some people rent out campers and storage sheds. Sign up to list your property.

Want to host an experience of your own? It’s free and easy to become a guide and start earning money for bringing others along to participate in something you already enjoy doing.

No matter where your adventures take you in Arizona, there’s sure to be a place to stay and experience to be had on Airbnb. Find yours today.

  1. I’ve always found nice places to stay on Airbnb and it has gone well. However, I have read stories of people being stranded by signing up, planning their trip and having their reservation canceled at the last minute. This left travelers with either no place to stay or having to pay major hotel fees. So it is important to be careful.

I noticed that on some Airbnb reviews I’ve read some people would state…reservation canceled by owner. It seems unfair as the articles I’ve read said that Airbnb is not very helpful in these cases of late cancellation .

    1. I’ve had pretty good luck so far. I know someone who works for a hotel and she said even hotels sometimes don’t honor reservations when they overbook.
